It has been three years since the Interim National Unity Government joined hands with diverse ethnic revolutionary forces in resisting the illegal terrorist military and to strive together for the establishment of a Federal Democratic Union.

Over the past three years, the Interim National Unity Government has worked to advance national equality and self-determination, build a federal democratic system, ensure continued public participation in the revolution, and drive systemic transformation. We respectfully acknowledge the continued strong support of the public and the sustained support of the international community, including governments and various organizations, throughout these three years.

We deeply appreciated that, guided by the Federal Democracy Charter and under the leadership of the National Unity Consultative Council, the Interim National Unity Government has implemented strong strategies to eradicate military dictatorship and all forms of authoritarianism, while working toward the elimination of chauvinism and the establishment of a Federal Democratic Union.

Furthermore, since the establishment of the Karenni State Interim Executive Council, the Interim National Unity Government has provided its cooperation, coordination, and support. We appreciate and sincerely hope that such cooperation and coordination will continue to be stronger in the future. On the occasion of the third anniversary of the formation of the Interim National Unity Government, we express our wish with this message in the hope that the Interim National Unity Government will continue to work closely with all allied forces to build the Federal Democratic Union reflecting the desired by all ethnic peoples, and to strengthen power-sharing arrangements between the Union and the federal units.
