Interim Executive Council of Karenni State

In commemoration of the Myanmar New Year and in recognition of the importance of humanitarian considerations, the Karenni State Interim Executive Council hereby grants amnesty and sentence reductions to prisoners currently detained in various prisons and camps. Accordingly, 25 prisoners are granted amnesty, and 209 prisoners are granted sentence reductions, making a total of 234 prisoners who will receive amnesty or sentence relief in accordance with Article 75, Subsection (b) of the Interim Arrangements of Karenni State.
