Press Release regarding SAC pilot

1. On November 11, 2023, a K-8W combat aircraft of the military junta air force was shot down by troops from the Karenni Revolutionary Allied Forces. One of the two pilots who escaped from the crashed combat aircraft was apprehended on November 19, 2023.
2. Major Khaing Thant Moe (Military Identification Number (Air) 2853, Date of Birth – May 27, 1981, Taungoo Air Base) is the captured pilot. The co-pilot, Lieutenant Zar Ni Maung, is still missing, and the search process is underway. 
3. The process for further actions for Major Khaing Thant Moe will continue to be taken in accordance with the law and international standards and protocols.
