In October, led by the Department of Humanitarian Affairs and Rehabilitation, a coordination meeting was convened in Phayagyaw Township to address the urgent humanitarian needs of more than 6,000 internally displaced persons (IDPs) who were forced to flee due to ongoing military operations. The meeting brought together the Phayagyaw Township Combined Administration, relevant departments, local civil society organizations, IDP committees, and other stakeholders to collaborate and plan effective emergency response measures.
During the meeting, joint action plans were established to implement programs for the IDPs, including shelter, food supplies, healthcare services, access to water, and long-term resettlement arrangements
