Official announcement to the Public

Starting from 5:00 a.m. on 11 November 2023, as part of the anti-military dictatorship movement in Karenni State, the  Operation 1111 offensive is being jointly carried out by revolutionary forces and allied organizations operating in Karenni State. This operation is being carried out to end military dictatorship and all forms of authoritarian rule, and to completely dismantle and collapse the regime’s administrative mechanism. 

The bettle may intensify in and around Loikaw city area and in the surrounding wards and village tracts, including Chi kel Village, Nwar la woe Village, Noe koe Village, Daw paw kalae Village, and Kong tar Village, as well as in Moe Bye Town. In addition, the areas surrounding Loikaw city may also turn into a combat zone. Under this situation, the public may need to relocate to safer locations for their security.

Therefore, the public is strongly advised to prepare essential food supplies and medicines and to get ready for relocation to safe and secure areas.

For the public who are currently unable to relocate, it is advised to avoid unnecessary travel and outdoor movement, and to stay indoors in protected areas of their homes while being alert to the possible risks.

Regarding the operational situation, the responsible authorities will announce the relevant information that needs to be known in a timely manner. 

Thus, we hereby inform the public that the secure arrangements will be made, in coordination with relevant revolutionary forces and allied organizations, to ensure that the public are relocate safely and securely.
