DIRECTIVE ORDER

I

In order to manage matters related to the rule of law and public security concerns for the public in Deebaungkhu Township of Karenni State, the Township Joint Administration Committee members and Village Tract Administrators have decided to take responsibility in accordance with the decisions made at the coordination meeting on (21.2.2025). Therefore, this directive is issued for the public residing within the township to be aware of and strictly follow the rules and regulations described below:

(a) To reduce deforestation, all residents in the township must have a recommendation letter from their respective Village Tract Administrators when transporting and carrying logs, sawn timber, or firewood.

(b) All timber-transporting vehicles must be inspected and recorded at the township checkpoints (gates).

(c) The respective Village Chairmen and Village Tract Administrators must prohibit the commercial trading of clan-owned forests and family-owned forests within the township.
