1. With the objectives of ending the dictatorship, achieving the right to self-determination and self-governance, and building a federal system, the Karenni State Interim Parliament was formed in accordance with the Karenni State Interim Arrangement, which, as of today, 24 August 2025, has now turned into two (2) years term since its establishment.
2. During its two-year term, the Karenni State Interim Parliament has not only been able to approve and enact laws that are urgently needed for Karenni State, but has also played a leading role in practically exercising the checks and balances among the three pillars: the legislative, judicial, and executive branches.
3. We hereby honor with this Message of Commendation, and we sincerely hope that the Karenni State Interim Parliament will continue to advance and strengthen its legislative processes further and safeguard the right of self-determination for the people of Karenni State.
