Khu Oo Reh has served as the Chairperson of the Interim Executive Council of Karenni State (IEC) since its establishment in June 2023. An experienced political leader, he is also the Chairperson of the Karenni State Progressive Party (KNPP). In his role at the IEC, he plays a crucial role in state-building efforts in Karenni State.

He is committed to fighting against all forms of dictatorship and advocating for a federal democracy that ensures freedom, equality, and self-determination for all nationalities within Karenni State. His leadership extends to various public departments that provide essential services, manage public affairs, and enforce the law.

Moreover, he is responsible for intergovernmental and international relations, engaging with relevant political stakeholders and diplomats from other countries to foster strategic partnerships.
