Zue Padonmar has served as the IEC Secretary-1 for more than 2 years. She is a feminist activist who has worked at the Burmese Women’s Union (BWU) in different positions for thirteen years. She had also served on the policy board of the Women’s League of Burma (WLB). Since the onset of the Spring Revolution, she has actively participated in fighting for a functioning federal democratic union. She has been a member of the Karenni Strike Committee, which continues her professional career as a politician.

Since the establishment of the Karenni State Consultative Council (KSCC) in 2021, she had worked as a member of the Council until she joined the IEC in 2023. Due to her strong commitment to revolutionary activities, she has been appointed secretary at the IEC.
